Byron Bay via the Tweed Valley 8Hr

After pick up your tour will head to the peak overlooking Duranbah Beach, at Point Danger, the cliff top where the borders of NSW & Qld meet, before heading out through the cool and spectacular Tweed Valley. This area is a rolling patchwork of Green, with farms, sugar cane fields and natural wooded areas delighting the eye at every turn. Pass through charming country towns nestled in the hills as you head toward the spectacular Mt Warning with its towering cone shaped peak that can be seen throughout the valley. Stop and browse through the local hoecraft stores at Tyalgum and Chillingham or for the more adventurous, continue out to the off beat town of Nimbin, known best for its hippie culture and laid back lifestyle.

Continue on enjoying great scenery and regular stops for photos and refreshments before arriving in the coastal town of Byron Bay….. a must see taking in all the beautiful beachside views, not forgetting the famous Byron Bay Lighthouse, situated on the most Eastern point of Australia. Spot a whale! See dolphins! Enjoy lunch at one of the beautiful cafes or the renowned Byron Bay Hotel set overlooking the beach. Indulge in some of the mouth watering locally made ice cream while strolling around the shops filled with local and international wares before an exhilarating ride up the freeway on your way home.
